Hayley Atwell Central

Putting the matter of national concern on the front, the Season 2 premiere of ABC’s hit crime drama TV series “Agent Carter” has been given a new release date. To give way for the State of the Union address, the Hayley Atwell-starred series will now return on air this Jan. 19.

While on delay, fans can busy themselves figuring out what might happen in the new season of the Marvel TV show with the given titles for the first three episodes of Season 2.

Shared over at SpoilerTV.com, the titles are:

Episode 1: “The Lady in the Lake”

Episode 2: “A View in the Dark”

Episode 3: “Better Angels”

As what might have already been known, the new season will kick off with two episodes. The segments are expected to find Peggy ditching the busy life of New York for the “glitz and glamour” of the post-war Los Angeles, California.

Despite the sunny and inviting weather of the Golden Coast, the Strategic Scientific Reserve operative will be busy figuring out the new threats which, in the first place, called her to the location.

Joined by the trusty valet, Jarvis (James D’Arcy), the duo will find themselves entangled in the mystery of the Darkforce as well as dealing with new characters like the nascent Madam Masque (Wynn Everett). The new setting, all the while, will also find Peggy become involved with a handful of interesting love interests.

Viewers should also be delighted to meet the newcomers on the show like Lotte Verbeek, who will play as Ana, Jarvis’ wife. Other new cast members include Currie Graham (as Calvin Chadwick), Reggie Austin (as Jason Wilkes), Kurtwood Smith (as Vernon Masters), and Ken Marino (as Joseph Manfredi).

Joining the aforementioned actors are the Season 1 mainstays like Enver Gjokaj as Daniel Sousa, and Chad Michael Murray as Jack Thompson.

Stay tuned for more updates. [Source]

The second season of “Marvel’s Agent Carter” will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, January 19 at 9PM.

The two-hour special was initially scheduled to bow on Tuesday, January 5, however due to the President’s State of the Union address scheduled for Tuesday, January 12, the premiere has been pushed back two weeks.

Dedicated to the fight against new Atomic Age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home – perhaps even a new love – she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.

Marvel’s “Agent Carter” season 2 will be going to a new location as Peggy (Hayley Atwell) will going on a dangerous mission in Hollywood.

According to Christian Post, the show will be moving from New York to Los Angeles and will fight the new villain which is the Atomic Age that is making huge threats of destruction. With that, fans should be expecting that there will be more actions scenes in “Agent Carter” season 2 and the first trailer reveal that the heroine can be seen going around the streets of Los Angeles with gun on her hands and shooting out the bad guys. It was also revealed that Peggy will be finding a new love interest in her new home.

The trailer also gives the fans a quick glimpse of a frozen solid block. Although it was not clear as to who is inside, some sources speculate that the team might just have their own man of ice when the show returns next year. Other reports also reveal that the new season will add a new addition with Wynn Everett who will play as Whitney Frost also known as Madam Masque. The character was described as an actress who is also a brilliant inventor that will cause some trouble for the heroes.

Meanwhile, Hitflix reported that ABC has already released a second trailer for “Agent Carter” season 2 and it shows the original team of Peggy which include Jarvis (James D’Arcy) and Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) who are working on a new case in Los Angeles. Peggy will return as the unstoppable agent for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) who is dedicated to fight the threats in the wake of World War II.

Other cast members include Enver Gjokaj as Chief Daniel Sousa Reggie Austin as Jason Wilkes and Chad Michael Murray as Chief Jack Thompson. “Agent Carter” season 2 is said to premiere on ABC on January 5, 2016. [Source]

With Agents of SHIELD only having two more episodes left before it goes on its winter hiatus, ABC knows that Marvel fans will be curious about just what’s in store for Agent Carter, which will be filling in the time slot. Less than a week after sharing their first trailer for season two, the network has put out a whole new one.

While the first trailer focused on the glitz and glamour of old school Hollywood that will provide the backdrop for the series move from New York to Los Angeles, this new trailer reminds us that Marvel’s first team up wasn’t the Avengers or the Agents of SHIELD, at least not from a historical perspective. We get to see a whole lot more of Peggy (Hayley Atwell) in action as she meets Jarvis (James D’Arcy) on her LA arrival.

In addition to plenty of Peggy Carter kicking and punching, we get to hear a bit of her best American accent, and we also get a few teases at what kind of cases we could be seeing when the show returns. There’s someone trapped in a block of ice (and no, it’s not Captain America), as well as plenty of Agent Carter in undercover guises, and even her telling Agent (now Director) Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) that whatever case they’re working is much larger than they originally thought. It looks like it will be another stellar outing for the series. [Source]
