A new prequel comic has confirmed Agent Peggy Carter’s rumored appearance in the upcoming “Ant-Man” film.
In the comic, Peggy visits Hank Pym, who is sporting the Ant-Man suit, and opens fire on him to check out how the suit works, similarly to what Carter did to Cap’s vibranium shield in “Captain America: The First Avenger,” Comicbook.com notes.
A flashback scene involving Howard Stark, Peggy Carter and a younger Hank Pym had been rumored for the film, but even if we don’t see that particular scene, it has become apparent that we will see Carter and Pym mingle at some point during the film.
Project Casting had also reported that Hayley Atwell, who plays Carter in the MCU, would appear in the film a few months ago.

Marvel has released the official synopsis for “The Iron Ceiling,” which is the fifth episode of Marvel’s Agent Carter. In it, Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) has been assigned her first official mission. She doesn’t want to go on the mission by herself, but who can she trust? How about Dum-Dum Dugan (Neal McDonough) and his Howling Commandos! Last time we saw them was in Captain America: The First Avenger.
