A “Doctor Who” companion, one of the original agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., a classic Batman villain, the Mistress of the Dark, a vigilante who employs murder, kidnapping, extortion, violence and torture in his war on crime and the Excelsior! himself are just some of the high-profile guests slated for this weekend’s Boston Comic Con at the Seaport World Trade Center, 200 Seaport Boulevard.

Hayley Atwell is Agent Peggy Carter in “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Ant-Man,” as well as the ABC series, “Agent Carter.” Carter is one of the most prominent agents of the Strategic Scientific Reserve, an Allied deep science agency formed to fight against HYDRA, the Nazi super weapons division. Atwell will be there Saturday and Sunday. Autographs are $50 and photo ops are $60.
